Donations made to Alumni Association are exempt of Income Tax u/s 80G (5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Order of Approval in
Form No. 10AC. Unique Registration Number for Section 80G: AAAAR3513NF20211, Date of Approval: 07-04-2022, Validity from AY 2022-23 to AY 2026-27.

Offline Donation to Vidyamandira Alumni Association
If you do not want to donate online you have the option of donating offline.
Please read the instructions below regarding offline donation.
1. For offline donation please send us an Account Payee Cheque / Demand Draft in favour of “Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira Alumni Association”
along with a covering letter containing your name, address, email id, mobile number and nature of donation (Endowment/Non-Endowment) and purpose of donation. You may
send the cheque and covering letter by post or courier to Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira Alumni Association, P.O. Belur Math, Howrah-711202. Donors may also personally
handover the cheque to Shri Mainak Ghosh at the Accounts Office of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira along with the covering letter or consent form.
2. Donations by Cash are received only at the office of the Alumni Association. Maximum amount of permisible donation by Cash is ₹2,000.

3. Please mention the purpose of the donation in the covering letter. To see the list of the funds for donation please click

4. PAN or Aadhaar Number is required for donations below ₹5,000. PAN is mandatory for donations above ₹5,000. Please write your PAN correctly
in Capital letters. Submission of incorrect PAN may result in non-receipt of benefit under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
5. We accept donations from Indian citizens only and accept cheques from any banks in India. Any person staying outside India has the option to
donate to us by issuing cheques from his or her NRO or NRE bank accounts in India. We are not permitted to receive donation from foreigners or in foreign currency.
6. Please mention Endowment as Nature of Donation in your covering letter if you want us to invest the donated amount and use
the interest from the donated amount for specified purpose. The minimum amount for an Endowment donation to an already existing Endowment Fund is ₹1,000.
In case of creation of a new Endowment Fund the minimum amount of donation should be ₹1,00,000. Please mention the suggested name for the new Endowment Fund in
the covering letter stating how to utilize the proceeds of the Endowment Fund.
7. If no covering letter is provided along with a cheque relating to donation for Endowment Fund, donors are required to fill up a Consent Form
and send it along with cheque. Click here to download a Consent Form. Please note that as per the provisions of the Income
Tax Act a donation will be treated as a corpus donation (donation for Endowment Fund) only if followed by a specific written direction of the donor. Hence either a
covering letter or a Consent Form mentioning that the donation is for a Endowment Fund is compulsorily required.
8. Please mention Non-Endowment as Nature of Donation if you want the entire proceeds of the donation to be utilised for the specified purpose
during that financial year. The minimum amount for Non-Endowment donation is ₹100.
9. You will receive an 80G donation receipt, after realization of the donated amount, by email from alumnividyamandira@gmail.com within seven
working days. In absence of any email the receipt may be sent by registered post to the address mentioned in the covering letter. A formal Certificate of Donation
generated from the website of Income Tax Department, India in Form 10BE will be sent by email or WhatsApp
within the first quarter of the next financial year.
